Saving Private Ryan - Opening Analysis

Above is the famous intro itself. It can be well argued that there is no subsequent war film that does not owe something to 'Saving Private Ryan'. Ourselves included. The shaky cam style, the point of view shots, the sheer intensity. It all originated here.

Platoon - Opening Analysis

Above is the harrowing and powerful opening to Oliver Stones 'Platoon'.
